How have you Bean?

Published by Gorgeous under REviews

Just last week, the husband and the children came home with a bag full of books from the community library. It has always been their weekend routine to drop in at the library and pick up some books. One of the books my son chose was Mr. Bean’s. Its a book that chronicled his movies, his achievements. It was very good one in a way that we get to see and at least the children knew more of him other than what they see in TV. He is such an exemplary and remarkable artist.

The book we were browsing at contains the photos of his movies which are too familiar for a 5 year old boy, nontheless, what he notice most is the prominent nose of Mr. Bean and as we flick into the next page, my dear son can only say…. there again mummy, look at his nose and there it is, there again….

And then it follows with, is there a way he can take out his funny nose? What a question. To me I look at his early photos and Mr. Bean is actually not bad to look at. Am not saying it because I know he is rich, but truly..revision rhinoplasty nose job repair is something he can afford to get but maybe it was keep as it is as it’s one of those important parts of his that made him prominent

.

I must admit, my 5 year old doesnt really understand much of those nose jobs yet…

A Smile in Your Heart

Published by Gorgeous under REviews

One of the few happy moments I keep to myself (I guess, not anymore) happened one afternoon in Davao when I got invited to a friend’s house party a couple of years back. My friend have just move into the place and

so as a way of welcoming myself for the first time and a sort of housewarming, my friend gathered all the friends around. Honestly, I was looking forward to being invited one day so at the airport, I bought bottle of Red and a bottle of White, just in case.

It still tickles my fantasy remembering such afternoon, there were few hitches, but thanks to my Sis-in-law Yeyeng, who back me up on the domestic side, just for me not to miss that much awaited party. I haven’t been out to party for sometime so it was a bit awkward to get dressed and put some make up on to impress my host maybe, hahahah(pssst, gigeetek kow!). I was all ready and just for formality, I rang the host and ask, “Should I bring you something?” although in my mind, I will bring a bottle at least. But I guess I was full of anticipation then that I forgot everything about the responce except for ….” Just you and your beautiful smile from your heart will do”. (by this time you guess what I am into)

So I went with a bottle of Red and nervous smile, and silly black bag filled with a lipstick and coins! When I arrived at the place, thanks to old and tattered Holiday Taxi who brought me there, the host was waiting at the gate ready to give a big bear hug and for a minute I woke up from my trance and thought, silly me, have I brushed my teeth before I left home? I should have thought of professional whitening
first before anything else since that was being required of me to bring… I mean, I should come with at least a gorgoeus smile in amy pocket.

Hours went quick, few drinks and a chat and I was off to another party, this time, I dont have to worry about my white teeth, the novelty was gone but hey….. the shoes I put on wasn’t really meant for ballroom dancing, but hey, what a heck…. I made it to the swing and boogie and jive…. and around 1.30 am that following morning, all I want is a foot massage and a generous sleep.
